Founded by working cinematographers, studiolensza was built on one principle: the best way to learn camera operation is to actually do it with professional equipment, guided by people who work in the industry every day.
Developing Australia's most work-ready camera operators
studiolensza was established in 2010 to address a clear gap in Australian media training — there was plenty of theory-heavy academic study, but very little that prepared graduates for the actual demands of a camera department on set or in a broadcast studio.
Over 14 years and 1,200+ graduates later, we have built a reputation as the school that production companies actually hire from. Our curriculum is reviewed every year in consultation with working directors of photography, broadcast chiefs, and online content producers.
We are proud to be entirely Australian-owned, with training studios in Sydney and Melbourne. All fees quoted are in Australian dollars and include full equipment access during your course.
